The CVT150 Pyrocheck Intumescent Fire Damper is a 150mm round damper designed to provide reliable fire protection while maintaining efficient airflow. Made from UV-stabilised UPVC, it offers much lower resistance compared to traditional damper designs. During a fire, the unit achieves a complete seal within approximately five minutes, ensuring containment and safety. Independently tested to BS 476 Part 22, it delivers a fire integrity rating of up to 68 minutes. This damper is a practical choice for air transfer applications in doors and partitions, particularly in new build projects requiring certified fire safety solutions.
