The Helios VDD 560/4 is a powerful centrifugal roof fan engineered for vertical air discharge in commercial and industrial ventilation systems. Its construction emphasizes both performance and durability, making it suitable for a wide range of demanding applications.
The housing is crafted from seawater-resistant aluminium and includes an integrated protection guard for enhanced safety and corrosion resistance. The fan’s motor support and base plate are made of galvanized steel and incorporate an inlet cone to ensure optimal airflow efficiency. Threaded bolts on the base plate provide straightforward compatibility with intake-side accessories, following the hole pattern specified in DIN 24155 (page 3). A standard-compliant bird guard is fitted to the discharge side, adhering to DIN EN ISO 13857 safety standards.
Equipped with a backward-curved centrifugal impeller made from high-grade aluminium, the fan delivers efficient airflow with minimal vibration. The impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 standards, ensuring stable and quiet operation.
The VDD 560/4 is powered by a speed-controllable, totally enclosed three-phase external rotor motor with IP 54 protection. The motor features ball bearings with impregnated windings for long service life, maintenance-free operation, and built-in radio interference suppression — making this fan a reliable solution for efficient rooftop ventilation.
