The Helios VDD 355/4 T120 is a roof fan engineered for vertical discharge, optimized to handle continuous airflows at temperatures up to 120°C. The casing is constructed from seawater-resistant aluminium with integrated protective guards to ensure durability. The motor is positioned outside the airflow, making it suitable for kitchen exhaust applications in compliance with VDI 2052 standards.
The motor support and base plate, including the inlet cone, are made from galvanized steel. Threaded bolts on the base plate facilitate the attachment of intake air accessories, adhering to the DIN 24155 hole pattern (page 3). The outlet is equipped with a bird guard as standard, meeting DIN EN ISO 13857 safety requirements.
The fan features a high-efficiency backward-curved centrifugal impeller made from aluminium, dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 standards for quiet, vibration-free operation.
Power is provided by a speed-controllable, totally enclosed, self-ventilated IEC motor with IP 54 protection. The motor uses ball bearings with impregnated windings for maintenance-free operation and includes radio interference suppression, delivering reliable and efficient performance under demanding conditions.
