The Helios VDD 315/4 is a centrifugal roof fan engineered for vertical air discharge, combining an aerodynamically optimized casing made from seawater-resistant aluminium with integrated protective guards. The motor support and base plate, including the inlet cone, are fabricated from galvanized steel. The base plate is equipped with threaded bolts designed for attaching intake air accessories, following the DIN 24155 hole pattern (page 3). A bird guard is standard on the outlet side, complying with DIN EN ISO 13857 safety standards.
This model uses a high-efficiency backward-curved centrifugal impeller constructed from durable polymer materials, dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 to ensure smooth, vibration-free operation.
The fan is powered by a speed-controllable, totally enclosed three-phase external rotor motor with IP 54 protection. It features ball bearings with impregnated windings for maintenance-free operation and includes radio interference suppression. This combination delivers reliable, quiet, and efficient ventilation performance.
