The Helios VARW 500/4 is a high-pressure in-line pipe fan built for dependable air movement in ducted ventilation systems. Its cylindrical housing is constructed from galvanized sheet steel, with flanges formed on both ends according to DIN 24155 standards. A built-in guide wheel enhances the fan’s aerodynamic efficiency and airflow control.
The fan features a semi-axial impeller equipped with eight spatially curved blades made from robust thermoplastic. The impeller is dynamically balanced to quality level G 6.3, as specified by VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940, delivering vibration-free and quiet operation.
Power is provided by a single-phase AC capacitor motor housed in a closed, maintenance-free design. The motor includes thermal contacts integrated into the windings, supports speed regulation through voltage reduction, and operates with sealed, low-noise ball bearings that offer long-term lubrication. The motor is non-reversible, making the unit ideal for fixed-direction, high-performance ventilation applications.
