The Helios VARD 630/8 Ex is a high-performance inline mixed-flow fan designed for use in explosive or hazardous environments, fully compliant with ATEX explosion-proof regulations. The fan’s cylindrical housing is made from pre-galvanised sheet steel and is equipped with rolled flanges on both ends. The flange layout follows DIN 24155 standards, ensuring easy installation within industrial duct systems. Integrated guide vanes support efficient airflow and improved aerodynamic performance.

This model incorporates a robust mixed-flow impeller with eight spatially curved blades, constructed from galvanized steel and dynamically balanced to class G 6.3 as per VDI 20060 and DIN ISO 1940, delivering smooth and vibration-resistant operation. Power is provided by a totally enclosed, 3‑phase squirrel cage motor that is maintenance-free and fitted with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
