The Helios VARD 630/6 Ex is a high-efficiency in-line mixed-flow fan built for use in hazardous or explosive environments, certified according to ATEX standards. Its durable cylindrical housing is made from pre-galvanised sheet steel and includes rolled flanges at both ends, with dimensions and mounting hole patterns conforming to DIN 24155. Built-in guide vanes enhance airflow direction and system performance.
This model features a mixed-flow impeller with eight spatially curved blades crafted from galvanized steel, dynamically balanced to class G 6.3 per VDI 20060 and DIN ISO 1940 for quiet and stable operation. It is powered by a fully enclosed 3‑phase squirrel cage motor, which is maintenance-free and equipped with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings. Designed for fixed-speed use, the VARD 630/6 Ex provides safe and effective ventilation in industrial applications requiring explosion protection.
