Helios Fans VARD 450/4 Ex

The Helios VARD 450/4 Ex is a high-pressure in-line mixed-flow fan engineered for use in explosive atmospheres, conforming to ATEX standards for explosion-proof applications. The fan’s cylindrical casing is constructed from pre-galvanised sheet steel and includes rolled flanges at both ends. Flange dimensions and bolt hole patterns comply with DIN 24155, ensuring consistent and reliable installation. Built-in guide vanes improve airflow direction and enhance overall efficiency.

This model features a mixed-flow impeller with eight spatially curved blades made from galvanized steel, dynamically balanced to class G 6.3 in accordance with VDI 20060 and DIN ISO 1940, ensuring quiet and stable operation. It is powered by a totally enclosed, 3‑phase squirrel cage motor that is maintenance-free and fitted with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is not controllable, and the entire unit is built to deliver safe and efficient ventilation in ATEX-classified hazardous zones.
