The Helios VARD 250/2 Ex is a high-pressure in-line mixed-flow fan designed for use in potentially explosive environments, fully certified according to ATEX standards. It features a cylindrical casing made from pre-galvanised sheet steel, complete with rolled flanges on both ends. The casing dimensions and flange hole pattern conform to DIN 24155 specifications. Integrated guide vanes are included to optimize airflow and performance.
This model is fitted with a mixed-flow impeller consisting of eight spatially curved blades made from impact-resistant polymer, dynamically balanced to class G 6.3 per VDI 20060 and DIN ISO 1940. It is powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with sealed-for-life, low-noise ball bearings. The unit is not controllable and is built to ensure safe and efficient ventilation in hazardous zones.
