The Helios SB 250 C is a centrifugal fan enclosed in a sound-absorbing housing made of galvanized sheet steel. It features spigots designed to match standard duct sizes and is internally lined with 50 mm thick, abrasion-resistant mineral fibreboard to suppress noise. The removable lid and retractable motor and impeller assembly allow for straightforward inspection and maintenance.
This fan uses a highly efficient, backward curved centrifugal impeller made from sheet steel. The impeller is dynamically balanced to class G 6.3 in accordance with VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 T.1 standards, ensuring smooth and stable operation.
The fan is powered by a totally enclosed, single-phase external rotor motor equipped with built-in thermal protection. It operates quietly, requires no maintenance, and includes sealed-for-life ball bearings. Speed regulation is possible through voltage reduction.
