The Helios SB 160 B is a centrifugal fan featuring a sound-absorbing housing constructed from galvanized sheet steel. Designed to suit standard ducting, the unit includes spigots for straightforward connection and is acoustically lined with a 50 mm thick, abrasion-resistant mineral fibreboard to reduce operational noise. The fan has a removable lid for simple access to internal components, and its motor and impeller assembly can be swung out for convenient maintenance.
It incorporates a high-performance backward curved centrifugal impeller made from sheet steel and dynamically balanced to class G 6.3, following VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 T.1 standards.
The fan is driven by a totally enclosed, single-phase external rotor motor with integrated thermal contacts. The motor is low-noise, maintenance-free, and fitted with sealed-for-life ball bearings. Speed adjustment is available through voltage reduction.
