The Helios SB 125 C is a centrifugal fan housed in a sound-insulated casing made from galvanized sheet steel. Designed for ducted systems, the casing features spigots compatible with standard duct sizes and is internally lined with a 50 mm thick, abrasion-resistant mineral fibreboard for effective acoustic damping. The removable lid allows quick access to the motor, scroll, and impeller, while the swing-out motor and impeller unit simplifies maintenance.
The fan utilizes a high-efficiency, backward curved centrifugal impeller made of sheet steel, dynamically balanced to class G 6.3 per VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 T.1 standards.
It is equipped with a fully enclosed, single-phase external rotor motor that includes built-in thermal protection. The motor is maintenance-free, operates quietly with sealed-for-life ball bearings, and supports speed control via voltage reduction.
