The Helios SB 125 A is a centrifugal fan equipped with a sound-absorbing casing made from galvanized sheet steel. It includes spigots that match standard duct dimensions and is internally lined with a durable, 50 mm thick mineral fibreboard for effective noise reduction. The unit features a removable lid for convenient access to the motor, scroll, and impeller, as well as a swing-out design for easy servicing of the motor and impeller assembly.
The fan incorporates a high-efficiency centrifugal impeller with backward curved blades, constructed from sheet steel and dynamically balanced to class G 6.3 according to VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 T.1 standards.
It is powered by a totally enclosed, single-phase external rotor motor that includes built-in thermal contacts for protection. The motor operates quietly, requires no maintenance, and is fitted with sealed-for-life ball bearings. Speed control is achieved through voltage reduction.
