The Helios RR 160 B is a robust two-speed in-line centrifugal fan engineered for medium to low airflow volumes in high-resistance duct systems. Its durable casing is constructed from galvanized steel and features standard-sized spigots for easy integration into circular ducting. The fan utilizes a backward-curved centrifugal impeller made from polymer, dynamically balanced for optimal efficiency and quiet operation. Powered by a totally enclosed single-phase external rotor motor, it is maintenance-free and equipped with sealed-for-life ball bearings and thermal protection. Compatible with electronic or 5‑step transformer controllers, the fan also supports two-speed functionality using the DS 2/2 controller (accessory, Ref. no. 1267), offering flexible ventilation control.
