Helios Fans RDD EC 630

The Helios RDD EC 630 is a premium centrifugal roof fan engineered for horizontal air discharge, offering excellent performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. Designed for industrial and commercial ventilation systems, this fan features advanced EC technology and a durable, weather-resistant structure.

Its casing is made from seawater-resistant aluminum to withstand outdoor conditions and includes integrated protection against accidental contact. The galvanized steel base and motor support plate come fitted with an inlet cone for optimized airflow. The base plate is equipped with threaded bolts for attaching intake-side accessories, following the DIN 24155 (page 3) standard. A bird guard compliant with DIN EN ISO 13857 is included as standard on the discharge side to ensure safety and protection.

The heart of the fan features a high-performance backward curved centrifugal impeller made from precision-balanced aluminum, ensuring smooth, low-noise operation in accordance with DIN ISO 1940 – 1 standards.

The fan is driven by an energy-efficient EC external rotor motor, housed in a fully enclosed IP54-rated casing. The motor is ball-bearing mounted with moisture-resistant insulation for long-term, maintenance-free operation. Integrated electronic temperature monitoring protects both the motor and electronics.

The RDD EC 630 also includes an external IP65-rated terminal box and isolating switch for safe and convenient wiring. An internal potentiometer allows for precise adjustment of control voltage, enabling continuous fan speed regulation between minimum and maximum output. The unit also supports external speed control via a potentiometer or a universal control system.
