Helios Fans RDD EC 500 B

The Helios RDD EC 500 B is a horizontal discharge roof fan equipped with advanced EC motor technology for maximum energy efficiency and performance. Designed for demanding ventilation needs, this high-efficiency fan features a corrosion-resistant aluminum casing and optimized aerodynamic performance.

Its housing is built from seawater-resistant aluminum and includes integrated intrusion protection, making it suitable for harsh outdoor environments. The galvanized steel base and motor support plates are paired with a precisely engineered inlet nozzle. The base plate features threaded mounting points in accordance with DIN 24155 (sheet 3) for easy attachment of intake-side accessories. A protective discharge grille, compliant with DIN EN ISO 13857, comes as standard.

At the heart of the system is a backward-curved radial impeller made from durable plastic, dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 for smooth, vibration-free operation. The integrated EC external rotor motor is fully enclosed (IP54), ball-bearing mounted, and equipped with moisture-resistant insulation for long service life. It offers stepless speed control and top-tier efficiency while being completely maintenance- and interference-free.

Built-in electronic temperature monitoring ensures reliable protection for both the motor and the control electronics. The fan includes an external terminal box and an IP65-rated service switch, as well as an internal potentiometer for easy control voltage adjustment — enabling any fan speed between minimum and maximum limits.
