The Helios Fans RDD 630/6 Ex is a high-efficiency horizontal roof fan designed for use in hazardous areas requiring explosion protection according to ATEX standards. Its housing is made from seawater-resistant aluminum, ensuring long-lasting durability even in harsh conditions, and features integrated intrusion protection.
The fan includes a galvanized steel engine support and base plate, complemented by an aluminum inlet nozzle. The base plate is equipped with threaded screws for easy attachment of suction-side accessories, following the hole pattern specified in DIN 24155, sheet 3. A protective grille, compliant with DIN EN ISO 13857, is standard on the discharge side for added safety.
At its core is a high-performance radial impeller with backward-curved aluminum blades, dynamically balanced in accordance with DIN ISO 1940 – 1 to ensure smooth and quiet operation.
Powered by a speed-controllable, three-phase external rotor motor with IP44 protection class, the fan features moisture-protected ball bearings and operates maintenance-free and radio interference-free. This explosion-proof fan is specifically engineered for demanding environments, delivering reliable ventilation with optimal safety.
