The Helios RDD 315/4 Ex is a robust, explosion-proof roof exhaust fan engineered for safe and efficient horizontal air discharge in industrial environments requiring ATEX-compliant equipment. This model features a high-efficiency radial impeller and a corrosion-resistant design for long-lasting operation.

Constructed from seawater-resistant aluminum, the housing includes integrated intrusion protection for enhanced safety. The motor support and base plates are crafted from galvanized steel, while the inlet nozzle is made from aluminum. The base plate features a standardized hole pattern (DIN 24155, sheet 3) and includes threaded screws to allow for the secure attachment of suction-side accessories. A protective grille on the discharge side is included as standard, in compliance with DIN EN ISO 13857 safety standards.

The fan is equipped with a high-performance radial impeller featuring backward-curved aluminum blades, dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 – 1 for low-vibration, quiet operation. It is powered by a speed-controllable, three-phase external rotor motor enclosed in a sealed IP44-rated housing. The motor includes moisture-protected ball bearings and is maintenance-free, interference-free, and compliant with ATEX explosion protection requirements.
