Helios Fans RDD 200/4 Ex

The Helios RDD 200/4 Ex is a robust horizontal discharge roof fan engineered for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, fully compliant with ATEX directives. Designed with safety and performance in mind, this explosion-proof fan features a seawater-resistant aluminum housing and a high-efficiency, backward-curved radial impeller also made from aluminum.

The unit’s construction includes a galvanized steel motor support plate and base plate, fitted with an aluminum inlet nozzle. The base plate is equipped with a standardized hole pattern (DIN 24155, sheet 3) and a threaded screw for easy mounting of suction-side accessories. A protective discharge grille is included, conforming to DIN EN ISO 13857 safety standards.

The fan is powered by a speed-controllable, three-phase external rotor motor housed in a closed IP44 enclosure. The motor is fitted with moisture-protected ball bearings and built-in insulation, ensuring reliable, low-noise operation. It is both maintenance-free and interference-free, offering optimal safety and durability in hazardous environments.
