Helios Fans MBW EC 355

The Helios MBW EC 355 is a high-efficiency, acoustically insulated centrifugal fan designed to deliver powerful airflow with minimal noise. Its housing is made from double-walled galvanised steel and lined with 30 mm thick mineral wool insulation to reduce sound transmission. Both the intake and exhaust ports feature rubber lip seals for secure and airtight duct connections.

The fan’s motor and impeller assembly is mounted on sturdy rails and can be fully swung out, allowing straightforward inspection and maintenance. Four vibration dampers help minimise operational noise and vibration. A built-in condensate drain and drip protection system comes standard when the access door is open.

It is equipped with a high-performance radial impeller featuring backward curved aluminium blades. The impeller is dynamically balanced to quality class G 6.3, meeting VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 standards, ensuring quiet and stable operation.

Driven by an energy-efficient EC motor, the unit offers high performance with low power consumption. The motor is maintenance-free, sealed with long-life ball bearings, and includes integrated thermal monitoring. If the motor exceeds the safe temperature limit, an automatic speed reduction function activates. Speed control is stepless and can be managed via a potentiometer or a universal control system.
