Helios Fans MBW EC 225

The Helios MBW EC 225 is a compact, sound-encapsulated centrifugal fan designed for high efficiency and quiet operation. The housing is constructed from double-walled galvanised steel, internally insulated with 30 mm thick mineral wool panels to suppress noise. Suction and pressure side pipe connections are equipped with rubber lip seals for an airtight fit with standard ductwork.

The motor and impeller unit can be completely swung out, allowing convenient access for cleaning and inspection. The assembly is mounted on robust rails and supported by four vibration dampers for smooth and low-noise operation. A condensation drain and drip protection system are standard when the access door is open.

Equipped with a high-performance radial impeller featuring backward curved aluminium blades, the fan is dynamically balanced to quality class G 6.3 as per VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 standards, ensuring stable and vibration-free performance.

The integrated EC motor offers high energy efficiency and quiet operation, with sealed, maintenance-free ball bearings and thermal protection built into the electronics. Speed control is stepless and can be managed via a potentiometer or universal controller. The motor includes an IP-rated external terminal box for easy wiring and installation.
