The Helios MBW 355/4 is a sound-insulated centrifugal fan designed to deliver efficient ventilation with minimal noise. The housing is made from double-walled galvanised steel and lined internally with 30 mm thick mineral wool panels to provide effective acoustic insulation. Suction and pressure connections are equipped with rubber lip seals to ensure a snug fit with standard duct sizes.
This model features a fully swing-out motor and impeller unit, simplifying inspection and cleaning. It is mounted on stable rails and supported by four vibration dampers, reducing both vibration and noise during operation. A condensate drain and drip protection system are included as standard when the door is open.
The fan is fitted with a high-performance radial impeller with backward curved aluminium blades. The impeller is dynamically balanced to quality class G 6.3 according to VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 standards, ensuring smooth, vibration-free performance.
It is powered by a single-phase AC capacitor motor, which is fully enclosed, maintenance-free, and includes thermal contacts integrated into the windings. The motor features sealed, long-life ball bearings for quiet operation and supports speed control through voltage reduction. This motor is not reversible
