The Helios MBW 315/4 is a sound-encapsulated centrifugal fan designed for quiet and efficient airflow. Its double-walled casing is built from galvanised sheet steel and internally lined with 30 mm thick mineral wool panels to suppress noise. The suction and discharge pipe connections are fitted with rubber lip seals for a precise fit with standard duct sizes.
The fan includes a fully swing-out motor and impeller unit for convenient maintenance and inspection. The assembly is mounted on stable rails and supported by four vibration dampers to minimise operational noise and vibration. A condensate drain and drip protection are included as standard features when the door is opened.
It is equipped with a high-performance radial impeller made of backward-curved aluminium blades, dynamically balanced to G 6.3 quality grade in accordance with VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 standards for smooth, vibration-free operation.
Power is provided by a single-phase AC capacitor motor with a closed, maintenance-free design. It includes integrated thermal contacts within the windings, long-life sealed ball bearings, and operates quietly. The motor supports speed control via voltage reduction and is not reversible
