Helios Fans MBW 250/2

The Helios MBW 250/2 is a centrifugal fan engineered for low-noise operation and efficient performance. Its housing is made from double-walled galvanised steel and lined with 30 mm thick mineral wool panels to provide excellent sound insulation. The suction and discharge connections are equipped with rubber lip seals to fit standard duct diameters securely.

Designed for convenience, the motor and impeller assembly can be swung out entirely, allowing easy access for cleaning and inspection. It is mounted on stable rails and supported by four vibration dampers to ensure quiet and stable operation. A condensate drain and drip protection system is included as standard when the door is open.

The fan uses a high-performance radial impeller with backward-curved aluminium blades, dynamically balanced to quality class G 6.3 in line with VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 standards, ensuring smooth, vibration-free operation.

It is powered by a single-phase AC capacitor motor with a closed, maintenance-free design and integrated thermal protection. The motor features long-life, sealed-for-life low-noise ball bearings and supports speed control via voltage reduction. The motor is not reversible.
