Helios Fans MBW 225/2

The Helios MBW 225/2 is a sound-encapsulated centrifugal fan designed for quiet and efficient ventilation. Its housing is constructed from double-walled galvanised steel and internally lined with 30 mm thick mineral wool panels to significantly reduce sound levels. Both suction and discharge connections feature rubber lip seals, ensuring a tight fit with standard duct sizes.

The fan includes a fully swing-out motor and impeller assembly for easy access during inspection and cleaning. It is mounted on sturdy rails and supported by four vibration dampers for stable, low-noise operation. A condensate drain and drip protection are also included as standard when the fan door is open.

The unit features a high-performance radial impeller with backward curved aluminium blades, dynamically balanced to quality class G 6.3 in accordance with VDI 2060 and DIN ISO 1940 standards for smooth and vibration-free operation.

Powered by a single-phase AC capacitor motor in a sealed, maintenance-free design, the fan includes built-in thermal contacts and long-life, low-noise ball bearings. The motor is speed-controllable via voltage reduction, though not reversible
