Helios Fans MBD EC 400 A

The Helios MBD EC 400 A is a centrifugal fan designed for quiet, energy-efficient operation, featuring an EC internal rotor motor located outside the air stream. Its double-skinned galvanised steel casing is lined with 30 mm thick mineral fibreboard to provide effective acoustic insulation. Both the intake and exhaust spigots are equipped with twin-seal rubber gaskets to ensure airtight and secure duct connections.

This model includes a swing-out motor and impeller unit, mounted on two sturdy rails with four anti-vibration mounts for stable, low-noise operation. It also comes with a built-in condensation drain and drip protection, standard when the access door is opened.

The fan’s EC motor offers high efficiency, IP 55 protection, maintenance-free ball bearings, and radio suppression. It features integrated temperature monitoring for both the motor and electronics, with automatic speed reduction if maximum temperatures are exceeded. Speed can be smoothly adjusted using a potentiometer or a universal control system. The motor includes an IP 55 external terminal box for simplified wiring and installation.
