Helios Fans MBD EC 355 B

The Helios MBD EC 355 B is a high-performance centrifugal fan designed with acoustic insulation and an energy-efficient EC motor located outside the airflow. Its housing features a double-skinned galvanised steel structure lined with 30 mm thick mineral fibreboard to reduce noise emissions. The intake and exhaust spigots are fitted with twin-seal rubber gaskets to maintain airtight sealing.

This unit includes a swing-out motor and impeller assembly, mounted on two strong support rails and cushioned by four anti-vibration mounts to ensure stability and quiet operation. A condensation drain and drip protection are included as standard when the access door is opened.

The fan uses a high-efficiency EC internal rotor motor with IP 55 protection, maintenance-free ball bearings, and radio suppression. Integrated electronic temperature monitoring safeguards the motor and electronics, with automatic speed reduction triggered if safe temperature limits are exceeded. Speed can be adjusted continuously via a potentiometer or compatible universal control system. The external terminal box, also IP 55 rated, simplifies electrical connections.
