Helios Fans MBD EC 315 A

The Helios MBD EC 315 A is an acoustically insulated centrifugal fan equipped with a highly efficient EC internal rotor motor positioned outside the air stream. The casing features double-skinned galvanised steel lined with 30 mm of mineral fibreboard to provide sound insulation. Both intake and exhaust spigots are fitted with twin-seal rubber gaskets to ensure airtight and secure connections.

For convenient maintenance and cleaning, the motor and impeller assembly swing out on two sturdy mounting rails supported by four anti-vibration mounts. A condensation drain and drip protection are included as standard when the access door is open.

The fan’s motor is an energy-saving, speed-controllable EC type with an IP 55 protection rating, maintenance-free ball bearings, and radio suppression. It has integrated electronic temperature monitoring for the motor and electronics, which automatically reduces speed if the motor temperature exceeds preset limits. Speed adjustment is stepless and can be controlled via a potentiometer or a universal control system. The motor also includes an externally mounted IP 55 terminal box for easy electrical connection
