The Helios MBD 400÷2÷2 centrifugal fan is designed for reduced noise operation, featuring acoustic insulation. Its casing consists of double-layer galvanised steel lined with 30 mm mineral fibreboard to effectively absorb sound. Both intake and exhaust spigots are equipped with twin-seal rubber gaskets to provide airtight, secure connections.
The motor and impeller assembly can be swung out for easy access during maintenance and cleaning. This unit is supported by two sturdy mounting rails and four anti-vibration mounts to decrease vibration and noise. A condensation drain and drip protection are included as standard when the access door is open.
This model includes a high-efficiency backward curved centrifugal impeller made from aluminium, dynamically balanced to meet DIN 1940 and VDI 2060 class G 6.3 standards. It is powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase two-speed motor with star/delta connection and thermal contacts. The motor operates quietly with sealed-for-life, low-noise ball bearings
