Helios Fans MBD 280÷2÷2

The Helios MBD 280÷2÷2 is an acoustically insulated centrifugal fan engineered for high-efficiency performance in demanding ventilation systems. It features a dual-speed 3‑phase motor with a star/​delta connection and integrated thermal contacts, allowing flexible control and enhanced protection.

The fan is built with a robust, double-skinned galvanised steel casing, internally lined with 30 mm mineral fibreboard for superior sound insulation. Intake and exhaust spigots come with twin-seal rubber gaskets, ensuring airtight integration into ductwork systems. The motor and impeller are mounted on a swing-out frame, enabling easy access for cleaning and maintenance. Additional design elements include stable mounting rails with anti-vibration mounts and a built-in condensation drain with drip protection when the housing door is open.

At its core, the MBD 280÷2÷2 is equipped with a high-efficiency, backward curved centrifugal impeller made from aluminium. The impeller is dynamically balanced in accordance with DIN 1940 and VDI 2060 (G 6.3 class) standards, ensuring vibration-free and quiet operation.
