Helios Fans MBD 250÷2÷2

The Helios MBD 250÷2÷2 is a robust and acoustically insulated centrifugal fan designed for demanding industrial ventilation applications. It features a convenient swing-out motor and impeller unit, positioned outside the airstream for easy access during cleaning and maintenance. The fan is built into a double-skinned galvanized steel casing, lined with 30 mm thick mineral fibreboard for effective noise reduction.

Intake and exhaust spigots are sealed with twin-lip rubber gaskets to ensure secure, airtight duct connections. The unit includes two strong mounting rails and four anti-vibration mounts for stable operation, as well as a built-in condensation drain and drip protection system, which activates when the access door is open.

The fan is equipped with a high-efficiency backward curved centrifugal impeller made from durable aluminium. It is dynamically balanced to DIN 1940 and VDI 2060 standards (class G 6.3), ensuring smooth and reliable performance.

The integrated 3‑phase motor is totally enclosed and maintenance-free, with sealed-for-life, low-noise ball bearings. It operates at two speeds using a star/​delta connection and features built-in thermal contacts for added motor protection.
