Helios Fans MBD 225÷2÷2

The Helios MBD 225÷2÷2 is a powerful and quiet centrifugal fan designed for efficient air movement in industrial settings. Featuring a swing-out motor and impeller assembly located outside the airflow, it ensures easy access for cleaning and maintenance.

The fan housing is constructed with a double-skinned galvanized steel casing, acoustically lined with 30 mm mineral fibreboard for excellent noise reduction. Intake and exhaust ports are sealed with twin-lip rubber gaskets for secure duct connections. The unit comes equipped with two sturdy mounting rails and four anti-vibration mounts, ensuring stability during operation. A built-in condensation drain and drip protection system adds further reliability during servicing.

At the core, the fan utilizes a high-efficiency backward curved centrifugal impeller made from aluminium. This impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN 1940 and VDI 2060 (class G 6.3) standards, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

The MBD 225÷2÷2 is powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase motor with a two-speed configuration (star/​delta connection), integrated with thermal contacts for added protection. The motor uses low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings for long-lasting, quiet performance.
