The Helios Fans KWL HBX 500 WW R is a compact and efficient air treatment unit with integrated warm water preheater, designed to actively humidify indoor air in residential flats and shared areas. Suitable for both new installations and retrofitting into existing HVAC systems, this HygroBox operates on the principle of natural evaporation to maintain optimal room humidity levels.

Maintaining a relative humidity range of 40% to 60%, the unit features a rotary blade evaporator that distributes moisture evenly into the air supply. Preheating is achieved through an integrated water heating coil, enhancing evaporative performance and comfort. The humidifier tray, made of stainless steel (1.4571), is automatically filled with drinking water and regulated for consistent performance.

To ensure hygiene, the system incorporates automatic UV‑C disinfection and scheduled water replacement to prevent germ or bacteria buildup. A built-in reverse osmosis unit in the water line protects against scale and mineral deposits.

Control is seamless with a built-in electronic system featuring a TFT touch panel and Modbus compatibility for integration with building management systems. The outer casing, made of galvanized steel and powder-coated in white, provides durability and clean aesthetics.
