The Helios Fans KWL HBX 500 WW L is an advanced air treatment unit with integrated warm water preheating, designed for active humidification of indoor air in residential and shared spaces. Ideal for both new installations and retrofitting in existing ventilation systems, this compact HygroBox unit ensures consistent humidity levels by applying the natural evaporation principle.

Operating within a controlled range of 40% to 60% relative humidity, the system uses a rotary blade evaporator partially immersed in a stainless steel (1.4571) humidifier tray. As air passes over the rotating blades, moisture is evenly distributed into the supply air stream. Preheating is achieved via a built-in water coil, enhancing evaporation efficiency and overall comfort.

The HygroBox includes a fully integrated electronic monitoring and control system, which displays real-time status updates on a TFT touch panel and allows connection to a building management system via Modbus protocol. Hygiene is maintained through an automatic UV‑C disinfection system and timed water exchange. To prevent scaling, a reverse osmosis unit is integrated into the water supply line.
