The Helios Fans KWL HBX 500 EH R is a compact, high-efficiency humidification unit designed to enhance indoor air quality in residential and office environments. Specifically developed for integration into Helios KWL ventilation systems with heat recovery, this model ensures optimal relative humidity levels throughout the year using active natural evaporation.

Air drawn into the KWL system is first preheated via the heat exchanger, then routed to the HygroBox where humidification occurs. Inside the unit, a rotating aluminium blade rotor is partially submerged in a stainless steel (1.4571) water tray. As the rotor spins, it continuously releases water molecules into the supply air via the wetted blade surface, providing a consistent and natural form of humidification.

The unit includes an electric heating coil to ensure the air is adequately warmed for effective moisture absorption. The water supply is sourced directly from the drinking water network, with the fill level regulated automatically. Hygiene is maintained through continuous UV‑C disinfection and timed water replacement, while a built-in reverse osmosis system protects against limescale buildup.

Control and monitoring are handled by an integrated electronic system with a user-friendly TFT touch display, and compatibility with building automation via Modbus. With a capacity for up to 500 m³/​h airflow and right-hand air supply configuration, the KWL HBX 500 EH R ensures a healthy, feel-good indoor climate with precision and reliability
