The Helios Fans KWL HBX 500 EH L is a high-performance air treatment unit designed for active humidification in residential flats and shared spaces. Engineered for easy integration into both new and existing ventilation or air-conditioning systems, it uses the natural evaporation principle to maintain a stable indoor humidity level within a range of 40% to 60% relative humidity.

This left-side air supply model includes an integrated electric preheater that warms the intake air to optimize humidification. The humidification process is powered by a rotary aluminium blade evaporator submerged in a stainless steel (1.4571) tray, with water supplied directly from the mains. The water level is automatically controlled for consistent performance.

To ensure hygienic operation, the unit features automatic UV‑C disinfection and scheduled water replacement. It also incorporates a reverse osmosis unit to minimize limescale buildup. The entire process is overseen by an advanced electronic control system, with user settings accessible via a built-in TFT touch display or through Modbus integration with a building management system.
