The Helios Fans KWL HBX 250 EH R HygroBox is an advanced air treatment unit designed for the active humidification of indoor air in apartments and communal spaces. Suitable for new installations or retrofitting into ventilation and air-conditioning systems, it features an integrated electric preheating element to support efficient evaporation.

This patented and proven system maintains a constant indoor relative humidity within a configurable range of 40% to 60%, based on the principle of natural evaporation. A rotating aluminium blade evaporator immersed in a stainless steel tray disperses water vapor into the preheated supply air. The unit is supplied directly from the potable water network, with automatic fill level regulation.

For user convenience and operational transparency, the system is equipped with a built-in electronic control and monitoring module. All functions, safety states, and humidity settings can be accessed either via a built-in TFT touchscreen or through a Modbus-compatible building management system.

To ensure long-term hygiene, the unit includes continuous UV‑C disinfection and scheduled water replacement to inhibit bacterial and germ growth. Additionally, a reverse osmosis filter integrated into the water line prevents mineral buildup and scaling.
