Helios Fans KWL 220 D R

The Helios KWL 220 D R is a compact, ultra-flat ceiling-mounted heat recovery ventilation unit designed for central air supply and extract in apartments and small single-family homes. This right-hand configuration model is certified to the Passive House standard and includes the Helios easyControls 3.0 system, allowing intuitive operation via network connectivity and web browser interface.

Constructed from galvanized steel with powder-coated white inner and front panels, the unit is double-walled and insulated with 20 mm of thermal and acoustic lining on all sides. Its slim profile and removable side panels make installation and servicing especially convenient in ceiling-mounted applications.

Equipped with a high-efficiency plastic cross-counterflow heat exchanger, the unit achieves up to 90% heat recovery. Two quiet, high-performance centrifugal fans with energy-efficient EC motors handle both supply and extract airflow. These fans are maintenance-free and can be easily removed for cleaning if needed.

The fresh air intake is filtered through an ISO Coarse 75% (G4) filter, with the option of adding a second-stage filter — ISO ePM1 50% (F7) or activated carbon — for enhanced air quality. On the extract side, a similar ISO Coarse 75% (G4) filter protects the heat exchanger.

With airflow capacity up to approximately 220 m³/​h, the KWL 220 D R is an ideal, space-saving solution for energy-efficient and smart-controlled residential ventilation.
