Helios Fans KWL 170 W ET

The Helios KWL 170 W ET is a compact heat recovery ventilation unit designed for central supply and extract air systems in homes and apartments up to 110 m². It integrates seamlessly with the Helios easyControls 3.0 system, offering network connectivity and advanced control features for modern ventilation management.

Equipped with energy-efficient EC motors and an enthalpy heat exchanger, this unit ensures high thermal recovery while maintaining low power consumption. The housing is constructed from durable galvanized steel in white, and the interior components are made from thermally insulating EPP. The intake air connection is configurable for left or right-side installation, with the default setup placing it on the right.

A large plastic cross-counterflow heat exchanger achieves up to 90% heat recovery efficiency. The outdoor air intake is filtered through an ISO Coarse 65% (G4) filter, with an optional second-stage filter available in ISO ePM1 50% (F7) or activated carbon for enhanced air quality. On the extract air side, another ISO Coarse 65% (G4) filter protects the heat exchanger.

Maintenance is simplified through front-access removable panels, with filters easily replaceable without needing to open the main housing. The KWL 170 W ET version also includes an automatic bypass function and integrated web server, supporting airflows up to approximately 170 m³/​h — making it an ideal solution for quiet, efficient, and connected residential ventilation.
