The Helios KWL 170 W is a compact heat recovery ventilation unit designed for central supply and extract air systems in residential spaces up to 110 m². It comes pre-equipped for smart operation with the Helios easyControls 3.0 system, which includes integrated network connectivity for seamless communication and control.
This unit features high-efficiency EC fans to minimize energy use and is built with a robust galvanized steel exterior in white, while the internal components are made from thermally insulating EPP. The intake air connection is configurable for left or right-side installation to suit various layouts; the unit is delivered with the intake on the right side by default.
At its core is a large plastic cross-counterflow enthalpy heat exchanger with heat recovery efficiency of up to 90%. The supply air side is filtered using an ISO Coarse 65% (G4) filter, with an optional second-stage filter available in ISO ePM1 50% (F7) or activated carbon. On the extract air side, an ISO Coarse 65% (G4) filter protects the heat exchanger. All filters are accessible from the front, allowing for tool-free maintenance without opening the unit.
The KWL 170 W ET version includes a web server, auto-bypass function, and can deliver airflow rates up to approximately 170 m³/h, making it ideal for energy-efficient and user-friendly residential ventilation.
