Helios Fans KVD 355÷6÷70÷40 Ex

The Helios KVD 355÷6÷70÷40 Ex is a rectangular centrifugal duct fan engineered for use in hazardous areas requiring ATEX-certified equipment. Designed for direct integration into rectangular duct systems, it features a compact galvanized steel housing with flanges on both ends and a swing-out motor and impeller unit for easy access during maintenance.

The forward curved impeller is made of galvanized steel and is aerodynamically optimized using a scroll casing and bell mouth inlet for smooth, efficient airflow and reduced noise. The entire motor-impeller assembly is dynamically balanced to ensure vibration-free operation.

Power is supplied by a fully enclosed, three-phase external rotor motor that meets ATEX explosion protection standards. The motor includes integrated PTC thermistors that must be connected to an MSA motor protection device, which allows speed control under the condition that the operating voltage does not drop below 100 V. The motor is maintenance-free and fitted with sealed, low-noise ball bearings designed for long-term use.
