Helios Fans KVD 250÷4÷50÷30 Ex

The Helios KVD 250÷4÷50÷30 Ex is a robust, explosion-proof centrifugal fan designed for direct installation in rectangular duct systems where ATEX compliance is required. Its housing is made from galvanized sheet steel with standardized channel flange profiles on both ends, allowing for compact, space-saving integration. A swivel-mounted motor and impeller unit ensures easy servicing and maintenance access.

Equipped with a forward curved drum impeller made from galvanized steel, the fan delivers high efficiency and quiet operation. The impeller and motor assembly is dynamically balanced, while an aerodynamically optimized spiral casing with a nozzle at the inlet ensures smooth airflow.

The fan is powered by a three-phase external rotor motor that meets ATEX explosion-proof standards. The motor features a sealed, closed design, maintenance-free operation, and low-noise ball bearings with long-term lubrication. A built-in PTC thermistor provides temperature monitoring, and speed control is permitted when the thermistor is connected to an MSA tripping device. For safe and reliable operation, the voltage must not fall below 100 V during speed regulation.
