Helios Fans KVD 225÷4÷50÷25 Ex

The Helios KVD 225÷4÷50÷25 Ex is an ATEX-certified radial duct fan designed for safe operation in hazardous or potentially explosive environments. Suitable for direct installation in rectangular duct systems, it features a compact, space-saving housing made from galvanized sheet steel with standardized flange profiles on both sides. The integrated swing-out motor and impeller unit ensures easy access for servicing and maintenance.

The forward curved drum impeller, constructed from galvanized steel, delivers efficient airflow with minimal noise. It is dynamically balanced and enclosed in an aerodynamically optimized spiral casing, with a nozzle at the intake side to enhance performance.

This fan is powered by a three-phase explosion-protected external rotor motor, featuring a closed design and integrated thermal contacts. Speed control can be achieved via a 5‑step transformer, electronic regulation, or a Helios frequency converter with an all-pole sine filter. The motor includes moisture-protected windings, sealed low-noise ball bearings with long-term lubrication, and is entirely maintenance-free. Electrical connections are made through a factory-mounted terminal box rated to IP54, ensuring safe and reliable operation in demanding conditions.
