The Helios KSD 80/50 is a robust duct silencer developed for noise reduction in HVAC and ventilation systems. Its housing is made from galvanized sheet steel and includes connection flanges specifically dimensioned for use with duct fans. It is suitable for installation on both the suction and pressure sides of the duct.
Internally, the silencer is lined with sound-absorbing mineral wool to ensure effective acoustic insulation. The side facing the airflow is protected with a fleece layer, preventing fiber erosion and maintaining clean airflow. This construction delivers long-lasting noise attenuation, making it an ideal solution for ducted systems requiring acoustic control.
