The Helios KRD EC 500÷80÷50 B is a rectangular EC centrifugal fan designed for inline installation in rectangular ductwork. It features a galvanized steel casing with flanged ends and a compact design that enables easy servicing via a swing-out motor and impeller unit.
The fan includes a polymer centrifugal impeller with backward curved blades that is dynamically balanced to minimize noise. The intake airflow is enhanced by an aerodynamically optimized inlet nozzle. The unit is powered by a highly efficient, speed-controllable EC external rotor motor, protected to IP54 standards. Maintenance-free ball bearings ensure quiet and reliable operation, while integrated electronic temperature monitoring safeguards the motor and electronics.
Speed control is stepless and can be managed using a potentiometer or the universal EUR-EC control system. Electrical connection is via a standard IP54-rated terminal box with a permanently attached cable, facilitating easy and dependable installation.
