The Helios HRFW EC 450 A is a premium EC axial fan engineered for high performance and energy efficiency. It features a cylindrical housing made from galvanized sheet steel, designed with flanges on both ends to DIN 24155 Part 2 standards, including standardized flange hole patterns. A robust IP55-rated terminal box is mounted externally for secure and accessible wiring.
The fan incorporates a profiled blade impeller crafted from durable polymers. This impeller is aerodynamically optimized and dynamically balanced, ensuring low-noise operation and long-lasting reliability. It performs effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from ‑30 °C to +60 °C.
At its core is a high-efficiency EC external rotor motor in IP54 protection class. This motor is maintenance-free, operates with minimal noise, and provides outstanding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Integrated electronic temperature monitoring safeguards both the motor and internal electronics.
The HRFW EC 450 A allows for precise and flexible speed control. It includes a built-in internal potentiometer for adjusting control voltage, enabling any desired fan speed between the minimum and maximum range. External control is also supported via a speed potentiometer, a three-step switch, or integration with a universal control system or electronic pressure/temperature controller, offering adaptable solutions for modern ventilation needs.
