The Helios HRFD EC 710 is a high-efficiency EC axial fan featuring a cylindrical casing made from galvanised sheet steel, equipped with flanges on both ends in accordance with DIN 24155, Part 2. The terminal box, rated IP 55, is externally mounted on the casing for convenient wiring access.
The fan incorporates a highly efficient, aerodynamically optimized profiled blade impeller made from impact-resistant polymers, dynamically balanced to ensure smooth operation. It is suitable for operating temperatures ranging from ‑30 °C to +60 °C.
Powered by an energy-saving, speed-controllable EC external rotor motor with IP 54 protection class, this motor offers top efficiency with maintenance-free operation and excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The motor includes ball bearings and integrated electronic temperature monitoring for both the motor and control electronics.
The fan speed can be precisely set using the built-in internal potentiometer, allowing any speed between minimum and maximum settings. Continuous speed control is possible via an external speed potentiometer. Additionally, control can be achieved through a three-step switch, a universal control system, or an electronic differential pressure/temperature controller, providing versatile and energy-efficient operation.
