The Helios HRFD 630/6 Ex is an explosion-proof axial fan designed for hazardous environments, compliant with ATEX standards. It features a cylindrical duct made from galvanised sheet steel with flanges on both ends, manufactured according to DIN 24155 for dimensions and flange fixing holes. The terminal box is mounted on the outer casing for ease of access.
This model incorporates a highly efficient, profiled impeller with seven blades made from impact-resistant, anti-static polymer. The impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 Class 6.3 standards and is suitable for temperatures ranging from ‑30°C to +40°C. It also has an electrical resistance of less than 1 Ohm to minimize static build-up.
The fan is powered by a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with low-noise, sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is non-controllable and designed specifically for explosion-proof operation according to ATEX requirements, making it ideal for use in environments with explosive atmospheres.
