Helios Fans HRFD 630/4 Ex

The Helios HRFD 630/4 Ex is a robust explosion-proof axial fan engineered to meet ATEX standards for use in hazardous environments. It features a durable cylindrical duct made of galvanised sheet steel with flanges on both ends, conforming to DIN 24155 dimensions and flange fixing hole specifications. The terminal box is mounted externally for ease of access.

This fan is equipped with a highly efficient 7‑blade impeller, dynamically balanced according to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 class 6.3. The impeller is made from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers, ensuring safe operation in environments with potential explosive atmospheres. It operates reliably within a temperature range of ‑30°C to +40°C and has an electrical resistance below 1 Ohm to prevent static buildup.

The fan’s power comes from a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor with low-noise sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is not speed controllable, prioritizing safety and compliance with explosion-proof requirements. This model is ideally suited for industrial settings requiring strict adherence to explosion safety regulations.
