Helios Fans HRFD 560/4 Ex

The Helios HRFD 560/4 Ex is a high-performance axial fan designed for use in hazardous environments requiring ATEX-compliant equipment. This directly driven fan features a cylindrical duct housing constructed from durable galvanised sheet steel with flanges on both ends, conforming to DIN 24155 specifications. An external terminal box allows for safe and easy electrical connection.

Its 7‑blade impeller is aerodynamically profiled and manufactured from impact-resistant, anti-static polymers, delivering high efficiency and reliable performance. The impeller is dynamically balanced to DIN ISO 1940 and VDI 2060 (Class G 6.3) standards, ensuring smooth and low-vibration operation. It is suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from ‑30°C to +40°C, with an electrical resistance of less than 1 Ohm for safe use in explosive zones.

Equipped with a totally enclosed, maintenance-free 3‑phase squirrel cage motor, the HRFD 560/4 Ex offers low-noise performance thanks to its sealed-for-life ball bearings. The motor is not controllable and is specifically designed for explosion-proof operation in accordance with ATEX directives, making this fan an ideal solution for safe and efficient ventilation in demanding industrial applications.
